FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The School Board invites community members to serve on a
Fiscal Responsibility Advisory Committee. This is a committee to
investigate cost reduction methods to reduce taxes. If you are
interested in serving, please submit a letter of intent by May 14th
to the contact information below. The Board will begin interviewing
candidates on May 19th.

DR. JEAN
R. RICHARDS NAMED AS SUPERINTENDENT OF
SCHOOLS FOR THE RAYMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT
The School
Administrative Unit 33 Board has unanimously
appointed Dr. Jean R. Richards as the
Superintendent of Schools for the Raymond
School District.
Dr. Richards currently
serves as Director of Special Student
Services for the Osborn School District in
Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Richards has served as
Superintendent of Schools for the Kearsarge
Regional School District from 1993-2000.
This appointment is
the culmination of a nationwide search. The
search was greatly supported by a
district-wide advisory committee comprised
of teachers, administrators, and community
members/parents.
School Board Member
John Harmon stated, “During her
distinguished career, Dr. Richards has
consistently demonstrated that she is a
dedicated professional that always puts kids
first. She brings both experience and
leadership to her position, and her
knowledge of our district will be a
wonderful asset as the district looks to a
bright future. ”
Dr. Richards is now
scheduled to officially assume her duties as
Superintendent on July 1, 2008.
