    Parents:

When calling the school to report your child's absence due to illness, please help us by reporting the symptoms your child is exhibiting, including fever, if any.

Please continue to stress thorough hand-washing and covering coughs and sneezes, even if your

    child is not ill.

As the winter months approach, and the onset of the flu season, the Raymond School District in conjunction with the State of NH is implementing sick call guidelines to assist in the tracking and recording of H1N1 like symptoms.

Parents-----When you are calling in a sick child, information regarding the nature of the illness will be needed.

    • Has and does your child have a temp (over 100.4 F)
    • Does your child have a sore throat or cough, is your child experiencing any vomiting or diarrhea
    • Before your child returns to school, he or she must be fever free x 24 hrs without the use of any over the counter medications such as (Tylenol, Advil, Motrin.)
    • Once your child is back at school, the nurse's office will continue to monitor your child for fever for the next 3 days.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
