At Raymond High School, the responsibility of education is shared among parents, students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members.  We recognize each individual’s unique needs and learning styles, and provide challenging learning opportunities in a supportive and safe environment.  Our commitment encourages each student to grow intellectually, socially, physically, and creatively.

ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS

The Raymond High School student will:

• Apply critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve a variety of problems in multiple contexts.
• Demonstrate the skills required for the appropriate use of technology.
• Communicate effectively through a variety of means, including but not limited to reading, writing, speaking, and artistic expression.

SOCIAL AND CIVIC EXPECTATIONS

Through participation in the school’s curriculum and programs the Raymond High School student will:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the roles of culture, diversity, and citizenship.
• Build an awareness of and responsibility for the local and global communities and their respective environments.
• Practice active citizenship through participation.
• Practice behaviors that promote lifelong physical, social, and mental well-being.
