The Raymond School District, as the organization responsible for providing challenging educational opportunities in a supportive environment, is committed to:

Intellectual growth will be nurtured through communication, critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, self-discipline, and self-direction.  In addition, we shall foster self-esteem, mutual respect, interpersonal skills, and those values that are necessary for becoming responsible citizens.  By providing these opportunities, we will help students reach their potential and thereby acquire an appreciation for the lifelong pursuit of learning. 

Students shall have the opportunity to develop respect for themselves, their community, their country, and democracy in relation to the world in which they live.  This will occur as they strive to meet the above-stated values and purposes.
