March 13, 2008
Dear Raymond Families:
Welcome back from vacation. As some of you
may know our decennial New England
Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
visit takes place next month starting on
April 13, 2008. I would like to invite any
students and or parents/guardians to contact
me if they would like to be a part of the
visit. On Sunday April 13, 2008 at
approximately 1:00 pm in the high school
cafeteria the high school staff and students
will make an opening presentation to the
committee followed by a reception. Over the
following three days the NEASC committee
will be at our school visiting classrooms
and interviewing students and staff. I
encourage parents/guardians to participate
if they can find the time.
In
the event that Raymond High School needs to
release students early the following
guidelines will be used:
-
Cell phones will not be used as a
means for dismissal.
2.
School policy will remain in effect
regarding the use of cell phones.
3.
Parents/guardians will be directed to enter
the media center from the outside
door.
4.
Students need to be cleared for dismissal
before being released to their
parent/guardian.
5.
Parents/guardians will remain in the media
center until their child arrives in the
front lobby, at that time they will be asked
to come to the lobby to sign their child out
of school.
We
must ensure the safety of our students; we
thank you in advance for following our
procedures.
Sincerely,
Kirk
Beitler
Principal
