   Today in the 21st century video conferencing has moved closer to that "Star Trek" view screen many of us remember from television.  With increased internet speeds, full mode video conferencing is now a reality.  Students at SAU 33 have begun to utilize this form of communication to participate in class from remote locations.  Future plans call for the implementation of Distance Education to be implemented throughout SAU 33.

     The IT department has established video conference links in all SAU buildings and currently utilize them for meetings and on the spot communications.  

     We are only just scratching the surface of what video conferencing can do for our district.  New and exciting Video conference projects are on the horizon!
