New WinSchool Server at RHS

    Following the floods of Spring 2007 the old WinSchool Server developed a number of problems.  Over the course of the entire summer the IT dept. would repair problems only to have 2 more show up.  Finally the decision was made to build a new, dedicated WinSchool Server to address the problems we were facing. Since the deployment of this new server none of the problems we experienced in the summer have returned. 

What is WinSchool?  WinSchool is a software package designed to track student grades, attendance, graduation information, build school schedules, etc.  The WinSchool software is over 20 years old and is being phased out by it's parent company.  SAU 33 is currently involved in choosing a new student software package to replace Win School.  SEE PROJECT # 18 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
