Purpose:

To honor the achievements of men and women who have been associated with Raymond
High School by properly recognizing those individuals who have made a major contribution to the success of the overall Athletic Program.

Qualifications:

Nominee must have been associated with Raymond High School Athletics.

Criteria For Selection:

Nominees will be considered on the basis of one or more of the following:

a) Be a former athlete, coach, team, or friend of Raymond High School Athletics.

b) Must have made a substantial contribution the Raymond High School athletic program. See attached form for detailed categories.

Number:

The number of individuals inducted will be determined by the committee on a yearly basis. There shall be one Championship team recognized per year.

Selection Committee:

Continuing members will include a High School Administrator and the Athletic Director.

Variable members will be one member from the faculty and staff, Alumni Association, coaching staff, and the community of Raymond.

Any individual meeting the qualifications listed above may be nominated by anyone fully completing the nomination form. Nomination of candidates for entry into the Hall of Fame shall be made annually. Nominees not selected for that year will be retained for future consideration.

All nominees will be reviewed by the selection committee, with a majority vote of the membership in favor of the nominee for entrance into the Hall of Fame.

Honorees Recognition:

The Raymond High School Athletic Hall of Fame will honor individuals and teams by induction into the Hall of Fame. Formal induction and recognition shall take place at a time and place selected by the committee. Public recognition will be held at a home athletic contest.
